Director, Screenplay: Tim Berger. DoP: Hanno Kunow. Editor: Janina Gerkens. Sound: Wolf Auerswald. Cast: Tomy Kessler.
A man sits alone in front of the screen in a cinema. With his eyes closed. While the projection lights up his face, the man describes the scenery of the film, which we cannot see. And then ... A film about cinema as a space of collective experience.

A chord in motion, with minimalist sound and shimmering colours. A mythical play on archetypes: the androgynous, the feminine, the strong. An atmospheric night-piece, hypnotically fascinating, an aesthetic treat.
Simon Rauh

D 2009, DVD, colour, 3’40’’
Director, DoP, Editor: Rocco Helmchen. Sound, Music: Johannes Kraas.
In this film, time is stretched as if in the proximity of a strong gravitational field, rendering visible the “empty” spaces in digital images that our brain otherwise interpolates to give us the illusion of movement as a continual flow.
Rocco Helmchen
Born in 1974 in Annabereg, studied media informatics before changing to film/television, majoring in camerawork, at the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where he received his design diploma in 2004. Since then he has worked as a freelance media artist.

Director, Screenplay, DoP, Editor, Sound, Music: Christoph Blawert. Music: Willy Hans. Cast: Nadine Droste, Willy Hans, Tim Kaiser.
Something that at first suggests peace opens up abysses and causes nightmares: the mountains. In a hotel room, three young people get lost amid the mighty mountain setting. A (body) landscape that dissolves into scratchy, grainy b/w film.

Stultifera Garden
D/DK 2008, Digi Beta colour, 12’05’’
Director, Screenplay, Editor: Johanna Domke. DoP: Anne Misselwitz. Sound: Tarje Gullaksen. Production Design: Adán Hernández.
The traditional garden is a place where the entire world is represented in highly symbolic symmetry and perfection. STULTIFERA GARDEN deals with an overlapping structure of the public and the private. The continuos pan shot shifts from a classic park scene into a dystopic, mazy structure of trails.
Johanna Domke
Johanna Domke studied until 2006 at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel, the Malmö Academy, Sweden, and the Royal Danish Art Academy in Copenhagen.

A lonely rail trolley under way on the railway tracks of a large city at night. Endlessly, without a destination. Very calmly. Surreal and provocative at the same time. The appropriation of space with an anachronistic mode of transport.
Mischa Leinkauf

The characters are trapped in a public space, behaving like animals out of a cage. Are they here to control us like militias, or, on the contrary, are they controlled beings, the reflections of an entirely standardized society?

Niklas Goldbach studied photography at the University of Bielefeld and Experimental Media Arts at the University of the Arts Berlin. Tween My Lips
D 2008, DVD, colour, 2’55’’
Director, Screenplay, DoP, Editor: Martin Sulzer. Music: Food for Animals. Cast: Andrew Field-Pickering.
“All I do is eat, sleep, shit and dance.” A music video about the modern man in today’s society. In hip-hop, videos usually only women get the chance to show their bodies. This is quite unfair to males. I think the male body is also worth looking at… at least in a two-minute music vid. Belly is the new booty! (Martin Sulzer)
Martin Sulzer
Since 2005 Martin Sulzer has studied at the Academy for Film and Television in Babelsberg, Potsdam. He works as an animator and director in Berlin.

In front of a bubbling primeval soup, the panoramic view moves along stretches of coast that have been built up in the globalised style of late trans-national finance eclecticism, and over bodies of water in which a hippo is fed and rubber dinghies spin about hectically.
